1: Set A Goals

Navigate to ‘Ads Manager’ and select the Create option. 

Once you select this option, you will be given a list of options to choose the campaign objective. You have to select any one of those objectives that resonate with your brand’s marketing agenda the most.

If you want to increase your followers, select the Traffic option, and if you want to increase your revenue, select the Conversion or Lead Generation option. 

2: Select Your Schedule And Budget

Once you are done selecting the campaign objective, you must decide how long the campaign will go on for, ad how much money you are willing to spend.

For budgeting, you’ll have two options; Daily Budget, and Lifetime Budget

For scheduling, you must head to the Ad Scheduling option. Here, you can choose when you want to run the ads. For example, you may choose to run them all day, or you can choose a specific time in the evening when your target audience is the most active.

3: Choose Your Audience

Having said that, it’s time you choose your audience. 

You will also have two options in this step. You can choose Saved Audience or use a New Audience.

If you already have customized data on your target customers, choose the Saved Audience option. On the other hand, if you don’t have any details on your customers, it’s better to select the New Audience option. 

4: Decide The Ad Placements

It looks like IG is filled with two options so that you never run out of choice. Like the steps mentioned above, here also you are confronted with two options.

The Automatic Placement option will help you choose the ad timing when IG predicts it performs the best.

On the contrary, the Manual Placement option lets you choose where your ads will be shown. So, for example, if you want the ads to display only on IG and not on FB, you can select them accordingly from this option. 

5: Create The Ads

Finally, you are all set to create your ad.

Choose a specific ad format, select the photos or videos, write the ad copy, select the payment option, check how your ad looks, and press the Confirm button.

Now, it’s time to add the CTA button and the URL because you want your audience to click on a particular link to buy the products you are selling after seeing your ad.
